Synopsis

Dirk the Bold was a heroic, if clumsy, knight. When Princess Daphne was kidnapped by the evil dragon Monkey, who took her to his castle, Dirk went to rescue her. Due to the limitations of computers at the time, this conversion of a coin-operated arcade game only features the first half of the game. This consists of entering Monkey's castle and meeting the dragon. The adventures continue in the second part.nnDirk the Daring is controlled by the player, who sees Dirk's actions on screen from a third-person perspective. The game is responsive and players must press the right direction of the controller or the right action button at the right time to allow Dirk to avoid traps, defeat monsters and stay alive.
