Synopsis

ESP Galuda II uses the "made in Cave" gameplay: standard shot, shot made more powerful by prolonged pressure but the use of which slows down your speed (note that then, the hitbox of your characters is visible, very useful), the Kakusei mode which slows down projectiles and rewards your character with a particular attack.
These fashions deserve a little attention. There is no point going back to shooting and concentrated shooting, a true institution of gameplay made in Cave. The player's survival will depend on the use and management of the Kakusei and the shield. The first therefore has the effect of slowing down the patterns that attack you.

If the player begins to feel lost in the middle of this almost permanent delirium of dumplings, activating this command can prove beneficial: at a quick glance, finding your way becomes easier. This mode is however limited in time...or rather in the volume of gems available to you when using it: the Kakusei will gradually reduce this number. A good use consists of only using it in the presence of ultra-dense patterns like those of bosses or sub-bosses. Of course, a second press of button B stops its use. The shield is also a matter of relief. If the player feels that the impact is inevitable, the C button is there to activate the shield which also acts as a smart-bomb. this shield can be charged within the limit of an energy gauge at the bottom of the screen.

During this charging process, it absorbs projectiles, giving you temporary invincibility. When you charge it to the maximum, this can also be quite long. But the attack launched afterwards, if it is quite powerful at the beginning, will only prove quite weak later against the most resistant enemies. This shield is therefore used more for its "protective" aspect than for its offensive aspect. Of course, the shield and Kakusei mode are limited, one by the number of gems, the other by the energy gauge, the latter being unique per level or per life point. Note that bonuses will allow you to partially refill it.

And one last mention for the impressive "Super-Kakusei" mode, which is the key to scoring in this game. By holding down the B key (Kakusei), you will activate this mode which destroys enemies more quickly and transforms enemy shots into bonuses...Or how to explode your score in pure visual delirium!
