Synopsis
The story of “Fade to Black” begins where that of “Flashback” ended. Conrad had managed to destroy the "Master Brain" which controlled the action of the Aliens, who had succeeded in taking the appearance of humans to better enslave them. At the end of Flashback, he flees the planet of the Morphs aboard a ship, without knowing the coordinates that will allow him to return to earth. He is cryogenically frozen while his aircraft wanders through infinite space.
