Synopsis

Hironobu Sakaguchi's Final Fantasy... The first opus of one of the longest role-playing game series known to date. Final Fantasy is the NES game that started it all.

Final Fantasy is played with a team of adventurers rather than with a single character. Before the game begins, the player must select four characters from six different classes: fighter, thief, black belt, white mage, red mage, and black mage. The player can select any combination from these classes. He also gives names to the characters.

The world is surrounded by darkness. The winds no longer blow, the seas are raging, and the earth is dying. Everyone remains hopeful that the ancient prophecy will come true. "When the world is dark, four warriors will come..." And so, there they are - the four characters you chose earlier. Their first quest will be to rescue a princess from the evil Garland, before then setting off on an adventure.
