Synopsis

4th installment in the Final Fantasy series. Known as Final Fantasy II internationally, as the original 2nd and 3rd games were never released outside of Japan.

The military country of Baron is one of the most powerful in existence, with a proud army and a majestic air force called the Red Wings. However, although his armies are benevolent and loyal, his king's recent actions are not at all.
The young captain Cecil, of the Red Wings, has the mission to steal a crystal from a village of innocent magicians. When he begins to question the king about these actions, he is sent outside the country to go kill strange monsters.
He does not yet realize the price that the king will have to pay for his actions, and does not yet know the real secret of the crystals and their true power...
