Synopsis

Gourmet Action Game – Manpuku!! Nabe Kazoku is another cooking game from Media Entertainment, like Yakiniku Bugyou. This one is much simpler than the latter, because you don't have to worry about placing the food, turning it halfway, or judging when it's ready: you just wait for the food to fall into the grilling bowl, for the word "OK" to appear above it, and then click on it to put it in your character's mouth. Here we go !
Where's the game, you ask? Well, it's really a fast-paced reaction game now, without a ton of strategy. Sure, certain items are worth more points at certain stages, and sometimes you can grab an "instant fry" icon (my expression) that instantly cooks everything to perfection, then go on a serving frenzy, and I suppose if you're really good you can time your opponent's (or CPU's) chopsticks so that they accidentally serve a half-cooked piece to their character, but overall it's all about being first to the "OK" food.
