Synopsis

This pack contains the arcade classics Gradius I and II
Story:
The Bacterians are attacking the planet Gradius, and in a state-of-the-art gunship, you must stop them.

Both games have similar gameplay and graphics, with only different music and level layout setting them apart.

Each of these side-scrolling shooters has over a dozen levels, all unique. No enemy type is reused from one level to another (except for the Boss which is the same in all levels). You can collect power-ups that provide extra speed, laser shots, target-seeking missiles, shields, and more.

Although many small modernization touches have been made to the games, it is still not possible to save. Be prepared to set aside considerable time to complete in one go.
