Synopsis

Progear Red Label is a 2D side-scrolling arcade shooter. This is Cave's only side-scrolling shoot-em-up until Deathsmiles in 2007. The game basically follows the bullet hell style - lots of bullets to dodge and enemies to kill, plus really big bosses at the end of each level. The player can choose from five children (2 male pilots and 3 female shooters), which affects shooting. The score is influenced by a system based on rings/gems, generated when enemies are destroyed.
