Synopsis

Heroes of the Pacific is a flying arcade game set in the Pacific during World War II. Heroes has several game modes: campaign mode, mission mode, historical missions, multiplayer mode, etc.
In the campaign mode, the player takes on the role of William Crowe, a young pilot who survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, but lost his brother. Crowe vows to avenge his brother's death, pursuing the squadron responsible through the major battles of the Pacific. The game follows the player's quest from Pearl Harbor to Iwo Jima, including Wake Island, the Marshall Islands, the Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal, the Gilbert Islands, the Marianas, and the Philippines.
As players progress through the campaigns, they gain new planes. At the start of the game, the player only has the most basic fighters, such as the Warhawk and Wildcat.
