HIND - The Russian Combat Helicopter Simulation
Description
Hind is a simulation of the Soviet Mi-24 (codename ''Hind'' by NATO and nicknamed ''Flying Tank'' by Soviet troops), and the successor of Apache. It offers most of the same options, including the ability to move from realistic control to more arcade control by reducing roll, adding unlimited ammo, or making the Hind indestructible. The gameplay has been modified to accommodate the differences between the Apache, fast and handy, and the Hind, slow and rock-solid. Instead of relying on speed, Hind pilots must be prepared to take all possible openings to attack and focus on avoiding missile fire (as the hull can happily handle machine gun fire and even cannon fire). Several views are available, from the pilot or gunner to several exterior views.
