Synopsis

“Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” is an arcade game that puts you in the shoes of explorer Jones. Just after the start screen, with the famous credits in Beeper mode, you find yourself in front of three cave entrances that you must cross according to your abilities: Easy, Medium and Hard.

You will have to go through three different scenes, or a cycle, and go through three entire cycles to be entitled to a fourth whose outcome is close to that of the film. In the first scene, you climb ladders and access cliffs to find cages containing children held prisoner by Mola Ram. It will be necessary to rescue six children to complete the painting. But if you find the exit before having rescued the six kids, you forfeit your bonus. The second table places you in a mine cart, and you must avoid tipping over by anticipating the other carts and the obstacles that arise under your wheels. You can whip the guards who watch along the rails, it can be enjoyable. The third scene puts you in the temple of Shankara, and you must find stones lying on an altar. Be careful of the lava, and to climb to the Shankara stone, you have to pass with good timing, above a lava channel. During your journey, you face enemies and it is your whip (space bar) that serves as your weapon.
