Synopsis

Interplay's third baseball game for PlayStation brings together 750 authentic players and 30 Major League Baseball teams with leaderboards based on the 1998 season. Notable features include updated high-resolution polygon player models, with sixty signature pitching and hitting styles, as well as a game announcer. Tournament mode, which allows eight players to assemble their own team, is also new, as is the physical model designed to replicate the Ball flight and throw simulation. In addition to the tournament, players can participate in an exhibition game, the season, the playoffs or the Home Run Derby. Statistics accumulated during the season are also saved on the memory card (up to five blocks of free space are required).
