Synopsis

In Kessen III, the player takes control of Nobunaga Oda, and unlike the previous two games, you cannot choose a side to play as, and Nobunaga has only one goal...unify the lands and rid his world of misery and suffering.

Following the prequels, this game comes with plenty of cutscenes and stays true to the strategic and action gameplay, adding a few new things along the way, like collecting items during battles.

The two main aspects of this game are planning and engaging in battle. Select officers and strategically place them on the battlefield, assign commands and issue orders. On the battlefield, each of the officers, including Nobunaga, will have their army at their disposal which can be controlled at any time. Higher levels bring additional special attacks to officers and their troops.
