Synopsis

KOF: Maximum Impact Regulation A includes Ash Crimson, Blue Mary, Makoto Mizoguchi from Fighter's History, and newcomer Xiao Lon, who is a Hizoku Assassin like his brother, Duo Lon, in its roster of characters. Regulation “A” is a remake of Maximum Impact 2, but with the classic 3v3 gameplay of the KOF 2D series added in hopes of winning over fans of the series as well as new players. Regulation “A” does not offer a story mode. Despite the addition of four new characters, Armor Ralf has been removed, as have several stages, as well as the story and challenge modes of Maximum Impact 2. Additionally, all characters have lost half of their outfits, whether in normal mode or alt mode. New music, including songs from Maximum Impact and Sengoku 3, has been added, as well as new alternate versions of stages and a new level for Makoto Mizoguchi.
