Synopsis
Direct sequel to the original Legend of Zelda, released on NES in 1987 and available on the 3DS Virtual Console. The game shifts to side-scrolling platform combat and adds RPG-style leveling. Link must awaken Princess Zelda by gathering the Triforce of Wisdom fragments inside formidable palaces. Tough and unconventional, a cult entry that still divides fans to this day.
