Synopsis

Stars 2001 (in either F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and NFL versions) is the sequel and final title in EA's short-lived Stars series, a spin-off of the main FIFA titles.
Instead of spanning multiple leagues, Stars focuses on just one (giving each team individual kits and stadiums) and allows the player to improve their team by improving player abilities or in the transfer market. However, to achieve this, the player must first earn star points on the playing field - by scoring goals, not losing and having a clean sheet, both in goals against and sending offs. From time to time, there may be Star Challenges, which require the player to complete a task (score five goals, for example), which will grant them more Star Points, risking losing them if the requirements are not met.
