Synopsis
In Mario & Yoshi (Yoshi), Mario watches over a well where pairs of enemy blocks fall. By lining up two identical foes on the same row, the player traps them under an eggshell, then merges two shell halves to hatch a Yoshi. Designed by the creators of Game Boy's Tetris, this 1991 NES puzzler charms with its deceptive simplicity and surprising strategic depth.
