Synopsis

Myself; Yourself is set in 2007 in the fictional town of Sakuranomori in Prefecture W (which is based on Wakayama Prefecture, Japan). The city is located in a quiet rural area at the southern tip of the prefecture and borders the Pacific Ocean.

Sakuranomori is the birthplace of sixteen-year-old high school student Sana Hidaka, who grew up with his childhood friends Nanaka Yatsushiro and Aoi Oribe, his best friend Syusuke Wakatsuki, and Syusuke's twin sister Syuri Wakatsuki.

Sana left Sakuranomori when she was eleven, but returns five years later, living alone in the apartment building run by Aoi's family. Sana soon discovers that even though some things have stayed the same, there are still just as many things that have changed.
