NBA ShootOut 2004
Synopsis
NBA ShootOut 2004 is the sequel to Sony's series of basketball games that began in 1995. While the basic engine remains the same as in previous versions, the graphics have been tweaked to offer more realistic players and grounds. Once again, players can lead their NBA team to victory using the Total Control system for precision passing, screens, dribbling and shooting, with over 50 authentic dunks available to end a game in style.
Single-button controls allow players to quickly set screens, auto-defend, or perform special feints and dribbles to escape the competition. Over 450 team-specific games are also available to replicate the NBA experience. All 29 NBA teams from the 2003-2004 season have been included, and individual and team statistics tracking is saved to the memory card during the season. Broadcasters Ian Eagle and Bill Walton provide play-by-play and color commentary, respectively.
