Synopsis

The story follows the adventures of Tora, a cat who aspires to become a true samurai. The game takes place in an imaginary feudal Japan where Tora must face various enemies and obstacles to achieve his goal.
The gameplay mainly consists of sword fighting, with sword moves and techniques to master. Tora can also use special powers linked to his feline side, such as pouncing on his opponents or launching ranged attacks.
In addition to confrontations, the game offers exploration of different traditional Japanese environments, such as villages, castles and forests. The player can also interact with many characters, accept quests and progress through the story.
Neko Zamurai was praised upon its release for its original concept mixing samurai and cats, as well as for its colorful visual style and authentic Japanese atmosphere.
