Synopsis

Nobunaga no Yabou - Sengouku Gunyuuden is the sequel to Nobunaga's Ambition. It is set in 16th-century feudal Japan, a time when ruthless daimyos (feudal lords) competed for dominance.
The game puts the player in the shoes of one of the daimyos, giving them the freedom to decide the fate and future of feudal Japan, through diplomacy and ultimately through war. The objective is to unify Japan under the player's rule. If the player fails by dying on the battlefield, murdered by a ninja or by natural death, he can choose a successor and continue playing. The first task is to make the province prosper under the player's control by developing agriculture and investing in cities.
