Synopsis

Pachinko is a Japanese gaming device used for fun and winning prizes. Although pachinko machines were originally strictly mechanical, modern pachinko machines are a cross between a pinball machine and a video slot machine.
These machines are common in establishments called "pachinko parlors", which often also feature a number of slot machines. Pachinko parlors have the same reputation as slot parlors and casinos around the world: gaudy decor, over-the-top architecture, floor-level cigarette smoke, constant din of machines, music and announcements, and flashing lights.
