Synopsis

Peter Jacobsen's Golden Tee Golf is the PlayStation port of an arcade series that found great success in the late 90s. While the various incarnations of the arcade game were played using a trackball, the PlayStation version uses a standard controller. Golden Tee Golf features a 3D terrain mixed with sprite-based graphics for objects like players, trees, and tees. There are six different courses to choose from initially, with mirrored versions of each course available after being unlocked. These courses range from quiet locations on relatively flat areas to challenging canyon playgrounds.


There are several modes to choose from, including a Strokes game and a Skins game. You can also play Speed ​​Golf, which will take you through a single round in record time, or Club Roulette, where you'll need to get a feel for how each club handles if you want to take first place. The game can be played by up to four different golfers, although there are no characters to select. You simply name your character and you are then known in-game as Players 1-4.
