Synopsis

Seven years after the release of the first Player Manager game on Commodore Amiga by Dino Dini and Steve Screech, here is the first game for the Playstation console in the Player Manager saga. The most important difference between Playstation game and classic Amiga game is that in Playstation game you cannot control the player on the field, it is only a management game.
It is the first football management simulation for the Playstation and allows you to experience the pleasures and pressures associated with running a football club. You will be responsible for your personnel, finances, team selection, coaching, tactics, sponsorship, press relations, transfers and sales. Oh, and you also get to play in the matches because you're not just a manager, you're the Player Manager.
There are three different ways to play P.M. A "Quick Start" gives you control of a premier league club for a season, "Challenge" sets you a points target to achieve by the end of the season, but "New Game" is the reason we all bought our season tickets. The opportunity to rise through the ranks from the lower divisions and reach the pinnacle of your career as the manager of a Premier League club.
