A museum has been opened in the Digimon world. It housed ancient history and artifacts from the digital world. But one night, evil Digimon decided to burst in and steal all the objects, scattering them across File Island.

Jijimon, owner of the museum and elder of File City, decides to ask for the help of a Digimon Tamer (the player) to recover all the lost items. These items are works of art, music, information about Digimon, the history of the digital world, and video clips, which can be examined in the console game after collecting them. The main game takes place primarily in an accessory for the PlayStation called the PocketStation!
