Synopsis

You begin the adventure by choosing your name and gender. Then your mother will give you a Pokématos, an object that serves as a telephone, a map and even (later) a radio. After choosing your Pokémon, a pocket creature that coexists with humans, you receive a Pokédex, an electronic encyclopedia recording the Pokémon you have encountered and captured. Your goal is to completely fill the Pokédex by capturing all the Pokémon in the region using Pokéball.

You must also collect the 8 Johto Badges (the region where you live) to access Council 4 and face the Master to become the most powerful Trainer, the Pokémon Master.

But your road will not be easy: you will be faced with a thief and Team Rocket, who will do anything to capture Pokémon and get as much money as possible.

Some changes have been made, such as the possibility of walking with your Pokémon in the game (which must be located first on the list of your Pokémon) or with the Pokéwalker accessory (included in the pack), of playing mini-games, or of concocting drinks to increase the abilities of your Pokémon (Speed, Strength, Endurance, Skill and Jump) for the mini-games.
