Synopsis

Popolocrois II is actually the third game in a PlayStation RPG series popular in Japan called ''Popolocrois Monogatari'' (The Story of Popolocrois). Two years ago, the prince of PoPoLoCrois, Pietoro, and his mother, Sanria, fought a great battle against the ice demon and his minions. Helped by his friends Narcia, the forest witch, the brave White Knight and the devil Gami Gami, Pietoro destroyed the ice demon and saved the country from an endless winter of despair. It was also on this occasion that Pietoro met his mother for the first time, as his soul was previously trapped in the Dark World and was only freed through the valiant efforts of Pietoro and his friends. This is how a time of peace and abundance arrived on the land of PoPoLoCrois. Pietoro has just turned twelve and his time to become a man is near. Popolocrois II begins with a very formulaic quest to retrieve the "crown of wisdom" from a nearby cave, but then the game's plot becomes much more complex and interesting.
