Synopsis
The king was injured by an assassin. It is up to his sons and daughters to venture to the cursed castle of Hamson, rumored to have a cure for all ills.
nnRogue Legacy is a 2D real-time action-platform game with minor role-playing game (RPG) elements. As a variant of Rogue, the game also introduces randomly generated rooms and permadeath. However, the game introduces a unique element: with each death, the player chooses a new heir to continue the quest. Each new heir has different abilities and skills. Gold collected by an heir, upon death, can be used by the new heir to build a mansion, unlocking rooms that provide beneficial features.
