Description

S.D.I. takes place in 2017 in an alternate reality, in which the Soviet Union continues to exist and pose a threat to countries in the free world. The United States has launched a new strategic defense initiative, with General Sloan McCormick as its commander-in-chief. A Soviet extremist group comprised of KGB members took control of space launch facilities, and began firing nuclear missiles at America. McCormick must do his duty, but his heart belongs to a woman on the opposing side. He controls a space fighter, trying to neutralize enemy missiles. He must also repair defense satellites and infiltrate enemy bases in order to save his beloved, his nation and the world.
