Synopsis
Sengoku Aces, Samurai Aces in its English version, is a vertical shoot 'em up initially released on arcades in 1993 by Psikyo. This was Psikyo's first game, developed by Shin Nakamura the creator of Aero Fighters (Sonic Wings) and founder of the studio.
Sengoku Ace was released on Japanese arcade machines on April 22, 1993. The game was ported to Playstation 2 in December 2004 and is part of Psikyo Shooting Collection Vol. 2: Sengoku Ace & Sengoku Blade edited by Taito. The game was released again a year later in the Playstation Essentials line.
