Description

Sango Fighter is a fighting game set in the Three Kingdoms era of China. The player can choose between five different characters from the era, and fight other characters either one-on-one or in story mode. The story is loosely based on real historical events from the Three Kingdoms era: towards the end of the Han dynasty, China was controlled by Emperor Ling, who was himself controlled by ten of his retainers in the royal palace. This situation created an atmosphere conducive to bandits, and the country was in turmoil. The emperor then ordered the ten dukes to restore peace in the country, but the dukes fought among themselves. Eventually, Duke Cao Cao took the emperor prisoner and now controls the kingdom. The player must, however, use five fighters to confront Cao Cao's forces and restore balance to the country.
