Synopsis

School Rumble is a romantic comedy about the daily lives of Class 2-C students at the fictional Yagami High School, as well as their friends and family. The main protagonist is Tenma Tsukamoto, a remarkable second-year student who secretly admires her eccentric, enigmatic and kind classmate, Oji Karasuma. Tenma struggles to confess his feelings to Oji. He remains oblivious to his interests, instead seeking fulfillment by indulging in curry. The main male protagonist, delinquent Kenji Harima, also yearns for Tenma, attending school only to be near her. Like Tenma, Harima struggles to declare his love and every time he gets the courage to do so, circumstances are stacked against him.
The story begins when Tenma and his friends hear a rumor about a mansion in which a great treasure sleeps. You start by selecting a character from whose perspective you follow the story. You also select a partner character and, depending on your choice, the storyline changes.
