Synopsis

Side Pocket 3 is a Japan-exclusive handheld billiards video game for PlayStation and Sega Saturn. Like its predecessor, Side Pocket 2, it presents in the game the image of a real professional billiard player. In this case, it is JPBA member Kyoko Sone.

Unlike previous versions of the Side Pocket series, Side Pocket 3 renders the pool hall environment with 3D polygons. Despite this, the board can still be viewed in the traditional way, from top to bottom.

Game modes include: story mode, training mode, trick game mode, and versus mode. Game variations include: eight ball, nine ball, spin, 14.1 continuous, bowlliards, cutthroat, three ball, poker, pocket game, mitsudama and yotsudama.
