Synopsis

Slither Link is a devilishly simple puzzle game from the pages of Nikoli magazine. Although Nikoli is widely known for coining the name Sudoku, he also produced a myriad of puzzles often dealing with numbers.

In this puzzle, the player must create a loop around the field grid without the loop line crossing. This obviously wouldn't present much of a challenge if it weren't for those damn numbers. The field is dotted with numbers that indicate how many times the line can be next to each other. Number one can only have the line abutting one side, number two on two sides, number three on three sides. The number four obviously does not exist, because it would create a square and therefore an intersection of the line, since it must have four sides. There are also zeros, which may not have lines bordering them.

When a loop has been created so that all the numbers are "touched" appropriately and the line makes a complete loop, you have solved the puzzle. The game has six difficulty levels and is played vertically on the WonderSwan.
