Synopsis

The Playstation game, Space Battleship Yamato 2 - Ai no Senshi-Tachi, is based on the second television series of Yamato, there are significant plot differences between them. If you have seen Star Blazers second series, "The Comet Empire" you will see that this game follows the events in the series closely. However it does ad battle events and enemies that were not seen in the series. There is a lot of new animation in this game as well as 3d renderings. But the game uses the same music and sound effects from the show.
