Synopsis

Space Invaders 2000 is an updated version of the 1997 PlayStation version of Space Invaders. Like this, it's based on Space Invaders DX and includes four variations of the original arcade game plus a two-player versus mode, but it's missing the parody mode. This version includes a new game mode called Time Attack. It is played against the clock and the player must eliminate five waves of invaders in as little time as possible. Each wave has a different formation and its own background graphics.
