Synopsis

In Starwinder: The Ultimate Space Race, you assume the role of Conner Rhodes, the first representative from Earth sent to compete in a galaxy-wide race. This is no ordinary race, though - an unknown alien race is building magnificent rails/tracks across the edges of space. Stretching thousands of kilometers in length, the rails act in such a way that when pilots navigate towards one of them, they increase the speed of the ship.

As Conner, your overall goal is to bring home the ultimate reward: the Starsphere. Although your mission seems pretty basic, it won't be easy; there are seven other drivers competing for the same prize. Residing in the far reaches of the Milky Way, the competition includes a half-machine/half humanoid named Ko-Ax, the vengeful Tianna Stone, and an overconfident egotist who calls himself Dextor - The Terrible. There are also drone pilots filling the rest of the field.

Divided into quadrants, there are 44 different rails/tracks that can be raced on; there are ten races per quadrant. While the bulk of the game is played against computer-controlled opponents, there are times when you play against the clock with a real test of speed and precision. Prove yourself worthy and you will face a group of elite pilots through Epsilon Indi - the last railway. If you can win this last race, the Starsphere is as good as yours!
