Synopsis

You play as Ryu, a Street Fighter fighter. Your objective is to travel to 5 countries (Japan, USA, England, China and Thailand) and defeat 2 enemies in each of them. Many of these characters, such as Adon, Gen, and Birdie, later appear in the Street Fighter Alpha series.

After each country, you will have the opportunity to earn additional points in a small bonus round, a feature later found in most Street Fighter games.

The final boss of the game is Sagat, who is the penultimate boss of Street Fighter 2. The goal is to become the greatest fighter in the world. Like most tournament fighting games, once you defeat the boss, the game resets and starts from the beginning with a higher difficulty level.
