Synopsis

The game takes place 20 years after the previous one. Halassar, a province of the Galdyr Empire, far from the kingdoms of Medeva and Orenia, was heralded as the birthplace of the reborn goddess Laharah. The priestesses of Laharah declared Maia as the goddess when she was a child and armies rose in Maia's name, led by the Emperor's brother Prince Taurgis, making Halassar independent of Galdyr and Maia, the queen of the Halassar Empire.

Traveling with her is Sangaril, an orphan trained by the ShadowClan assassins of the Munari, who was sent to kill Maia when she was a child, but who became her sworn bodyguard. While retrieving the Book of Prophets from palace traitor Halassar Dama Sivora, Maia activates a runestone embedded in Prince Neru's pirate island stronghold on Teomura Island, gaining the ability to transform into one of 4 summons. After retrieving the Book of Prophets and returning to the Palace, she learns more about her destiny.
