Synopsis

Surf Ninjas is based on the 1993 film of the same name. You play as Johnny McQuinn, a teenage surfer who has learned some ninja skills. Your ultimate goal is to defeat the evil Colonel Chi who threatens your island, and the game takes you from California to the South China Sea.

In the game, you can move left or right through several scrolling screens that make up a level. One button is used to fight ninjas that appear randomly in a beat 'em up style, while another allows you to enter buildings. The player has an inventory that can only contain one item at a time. These items are used to solve small puzzles in each level.
