Synopsis

It is a remake of the original Tengai Makyō II game for PC Engine. You play as Majinmaru, a young warrior chosen by destiny to rid the ancient world of Jipang of evil, as well as the allies he meets during his journey. The game takes place in a unique alternate medieval Japan, a world largely inspired by Europeans' image of Japan, with deliberately exaggerated features and clichés. The graphics have been completely redone, although the 3D characters have been designed in the style of old 2D RPGs. There are also many anime-style videos that have a distinctly comedic feel. Combat takes place in first person and has a fairly standard system of physical attacks and magic.
