The Great Escape is an isometric action-adventure game. Controlling a prisoner of war in a German camp, your objective is to escape without being spotted. There are many ways to freedom: back doors, cracked fences, and even underground tunnels. However, you must plan your escape while respecting the camp's strict rules. nnnnFirst rule: The daily program. You should attend two calls a day, eat a meal, exercise, and stay in bed at night. If you fail to show up for one of these events, the alarm will be triggered. If you don't touch the controls, your protagonist will automatically move and go to all important events. You must detect and use gaps in the schedule to explore the camp. nnnnRule number two: guard rooms are prohibited. If a soldier catches you in a restricted room, you will be placed in solitary confinement. Of course, you must enter the restricted parts of the camp to find items essential to your escape. The morale flag will change from green to red to indicate that you are in a prohibited area. nnnnRule number three: No prisoner may carry prohibited items. When you are caught in a suspicious situation, you will be stripped of all the items you have found so far. To avoid this, you must place the items in a safe place. You need to find keys to open locked doors, uniforms to camouflage yourself, flashlights to see in dark tunnels, and much more. nnnnRule number four: The guards' orders must be respected at all times. German soldiers patrol fixed routes and have line of sight. You must learn the guards' routes and sneak up behind their backs to avoid being spotted during your escape. If you are caught, your morale will decrease. If your morale reaches zero, your will to escape is broken.
