Synopsis

The Weakest Link is an interactive adaptation of the NBC game show made famous by host Anne Robinson's cold, direct demeanor and her catchphrase "You're the Weakest Link." Goodbye!" Anne Robinson contributes to the game through video clips and voiceovers, while actual gameplay is rendered through polygon graphics.
Players choose from 24 existing characters to represent themselves, ranging from a 17-year-old high school student to a 66-year-old retired bank manager. The rules are the same as in the TV series, with one exception: In the show, players give answers upfront, but here you have four answers to choose from. Initially, only the first letter of each answer is given, but after ten seconds the full text of the answers is revealed. In Easy mode, the full text is always available, and in Junior mode, players only choose two answers.
Single-player and multiplayer modes consist of a single episode, while Championship Mode is a four-episode series with a top prize of $50 million. A password is provided at the end of each show, allowing you to continue later. Different aspects of the game can also be changed, ranging from the frequency of question categories to the amount of violence the characters receive from Robinson.
