Synopsis

Titan Wars (known as Solar Eclipse on Saturn) is a 3D shooter set on and near Saturn's many moons. You are a very experienced pilot with a troubled past. You have been assigned to a new squadron aboard a Tomlinson-class carrier. There's trouble on a mining colony on the moon Janus. Your squadron is sent to investigate and discover much more than they bargained for.
Titan Wars is a bit like a sequel to Total Eclipse on 3DO. The gameplay is a pure arcade shooter. You can view the game from a perspective behind the ship or in the cockpit, but the scrolling is done on rails. You can only travel in one direction. In each of the 9 missions, you will find successive waves of enemy ships and a powerful boss at the end.
The story of this game is told through a series of video clips. In addition to cross-level scenes, FMV messages from your teammates appear from time to time while you play.
