Synopsis

The True Love Story games are notable for their geko, or escort system. When the player asks a girl to come home from school with him, the game enters a special conversation mode.
In this mode, in addition to the usual long-term strategic "love gauge", the girl you are chatting with has a short-term tactical "love gauge" representing her immediate level of interest in chatting with you. The player has the choice between around thirty conversation topics, and the heart counter increases or decreases depending on the relevance of his choices. The player can then leverage his popularity rating to ask the girl out, or simply to permanently increase his love rating.
True Love Story is the first game in the True Love Stories series for the Playstation One console. This is a dating simulation in a Japanese high school where you have to charm Nozomi, Midori or even Saeko sensei!
