Synopsis

Tweenies is a television program aimed at young children, broadcast by the BBC. The program takes place in a daycare attended by the same four Tweenies: Milo, Jake, Bella and Fizz. They are supplemented by two adults, Max and Judy, and two dogs, Doodles and Izzles.
The original prototypes for the preteen characters were designed by Sally Priesig of Mimics Productions; they were then resized into two dimensions for the characters featured in the series. Additionally, Sally also designed the character costumes and was co-builder/developer of the life-size Tweenies puppets. The costume fabric comes from the United States and was imported and dyed in current colors; it's about the same thickness as fleece sweaters.
