Synopsis

In THQ's Vs., you'll be able to play as one of twenty 3D polygonal fighters (including four bosses) trained in styles such as karate, kung fu, wrestling, street brawling, aikido and tae kwon do.
Each fighter is a member of one of four different gangs whose territory must be protected at all costs: Streets, Beach, Campus and the Hood. Vs. stands out for its action at 60 frames per second and the absence of a jump button, so get ready for direct head-to-head battles in twelve different locations: Venice Beach, Playground, Wasteland, Nightclub, Construction Site, Chinatown, Subway, Rooftop, Library, Stadium, Malibu Canyon and Miami Beach.
Game modes include one- or two-player versus one-player, one- or two-player Rumble (one gang takes on the others one after the other), Survival (fight all members of your gang), Challenge, and Exhibition (the computer fights itself). Battles are won by depleting as much of the opponent's life meter as possible within sixty seconds. The game also features alternative music (including vocals) from artists such as Razed in Black, Los Infernos, Suicide Machines and Pigs in Space.
