Synopsis

The Battle of Waterloo, arguably the most famous in history, took place on June 18, 1815 between the French forces of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and the English and Allied forces under the command of the Duke of Wellington, as well as the Prussian forces under the command of Marshal Blücher.

The game Waterloo was a revolutionary concept in war gaming when it was released in 1989. Waterloo removed the overview usually afforded to commanders in war games and instead gave the player the same perspective as actual commanders on the battlefield.
