Wembley Rugby League
Synopsis
After recreating rugby union, better known internationally, with World Class Rugby, Audiogenic turned to rugby union, using the same game engine.
The main differences in league play are that a team must give up possession of the ball after being tackled six times, which often leads to daring actions on the 5th tackle, especially since if you recover the ball from an opposing player you get a new set of six tackles, and after a tackle the game is restarted by passing the ball back to another player (which is inexplicably called "Play-the-Ball"), while that all teams (made up of 13 players, and not 15 as in rugby union) stay on their side of the ball. Instead of throw-ins, the ball going out of bounds to the side results in a scrum, as does a knock-on (a clumsy attempt to control a pass or receive a kick) if these rules are enabled.
