Synopsis

World Rally Fever: Born on the Road is a racing game with simple driving controls and no realistic physics simulation. The emphasis is on speed and arcade-style gameplay; To this end, there are power-ups and the ability for cars to jump with the press of a button.

Before the race, the player chooses one of eight characters, whose characteristics influence the handling of the car (these eight characters consist of four pairs, whose cars have the same handling). Several championships can be chosen, each with its own level of difficulty. The player will travel around the world and race in Scotland, France, the United States, Japan and several other countries. Each circuit has a distinct visual style and structure. Obstacles litter the track, such as fences, sheep and haystacks; bonuses can also be found there.
